法務部長曾勇夫：死刑存廢 不反對公投
中國國民黨立院黨團書記長林鴻池: 辦公投勞民傷財 沒有必要
The story clearly shows that neither the Justice Minister 曾勇夫, nor the Chinese KMT's legislator 林鴻池 understand or respect citizens' rights of referendum. People have the right to initiate a referendum. It is most absurd for a Justice Minister 曾勇夫, a public elected legislator 林鴻池, (and a public elected president 馬英九) to conspire to strip citizens of their referendum rights.
死刑存廢 曾勇夫：不反對公投
法務部長曾勇夫昨赴立法院報告我國死刑政策，他表示，不反對用公投決定死刑存廢，對於目前定讞的死刑犯何時執行？他則強調，要審慎處理， 但最晚不會拖到年底。曾勇夫也指出，法務部研擬於一年內提案修法，在《刑法》中增訂「終身監禁、不得假釋」條文，並增設專門監獄，以逐步減少死刑的使用。
國民黨立委謝國樑建議透過公投決定死刑存廢，曾勇夫表示，不反對用公投來傾聽民意；但國民黨立院黨團書記長林鴻池強調，廢除死刑是世界潮流，台灣是否跟進，只是時機點的問題，目前從民 調就看得出來時機尚未成熟，為此辦公投實在是勞民傷財、沒有必要。...
